BerberPoint 920, the bestselling carpet range from Nexus has gone green.
ALL 27 colours in the range now contain recycled fibre where previously only a limited selection of "green" colourways were available in the BerberPoint Eco collection. The process has now been perfected for the most trusted commercial product, representing a giant leap for eco-friendly "green carpeting".
Made from Stainproof Eco Fibre comprising recycled polyester derived from PET plastic bottles combined with Stainproof Miracle Fibre, BerberPoint 920's recent colour update and introduction of seven new shades effectively broadens the palette of hard-wearing and environmentally friendly commercial carpets available to specifiers, architects and designers.
Recycling one ton of plastic bottles saves one and a half tons of CO2 from landfills and incineration. Backed with NexBac Eco which contains recycled fly-ash from post-industrial waste, BerberPoint 920 with eco colours is set to become the environmental choice of flooring.
The ResinBac tiles and broadloom varieties have recycled content in the face fibre, while NexBac Eco tiles contain recycled content in both the face fibre and backing...making them the ultimate "green" choice.
