Who We Are
The Green Cab's fleet of vehicles has been converted to operate on alternate energies such as Liquefied Petroleum Gas and BioDiesel (a B20 blend of used cooking oil). As such, it has assumed a pioneering position in the Eco-Mobility arena and has received interest from the top companies in South Africa that have undertaken to reduce the carbon footprint of their business to contribute towards mitigating the effects of climate change. The Green Cab has stimulated significant interest in the tourism sector as South Africa starts to adopt the principles of responsible tourism so that we significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the tourism sector, a key economic driver in our country. It is the proud Provincial Winner of the Emerging Tourism Enterprise of the Year for 2011.
GreenCab is owned and operated by women and has Spier Green Capital as an equity partner.
Services We Offer
GreenCab offers an holistic basket of transport, shuttling and touring services to the corporate; business and leisure tourism sectors; and, in particular, a Conferencing with a Conscience service to contribute to events greening.

The Green Cab is the only transport company in South Africa that issue a Green Transport Certificate to its clients that certify, in conjunction with the SA Carbon Protocol, that its transport service is Carbon Neutral.
It is leading the way in terms of employing various greening technologies to green its vehicles such as converting them to run duel-fuel on petrol and Liqueified Petroleum Gas; run on BioDiesel (B20 blend of 20% used cooking oil and 80% diesel) as well as an emission slicing tailpipe devise.
