Who We Are
Power shortages, carbon reduction demands and high electricity consumption could be a thing of the past, with a little help from what is probably the most efficient lamp in the world!
By simply changing the light ‘bulb' from standard halogen 50W GU10 or 35W IRC lamps to this Eskom approved unique Aurora LED lamp, companies can now reduce their carbon footprint and improve their bank balances at the same time.
International low energy specialist, Aurora Lighting has launched a direct replacement lamp which can be retrofitted, will need no maintenance for 35,000 hours and save 1.03kgs metric tons of carbon over its lifetime.
Compared to a 50W halogen, Aurora's new spotlight uses only 8W of power to produce 400 lumens or an incredible 50 lumens per watt used. This delivers a total saving of R954* over the life time of the lamp.
Suitable for a myriad of applications from hotels, pubs and clubs to hospitals and museums, the PAR 16 Spotlight 8W Cree LED is fully dimmable and comes with a three year guarantee.
At the end of its life, the Aurora lamp is fully recyclable as constituent parts can be easily dissembled thanks to its unique ‘Click-Lock' construction.
Available in both Warm White (2700K) and in Cool White (4200K).
* ROI of 281% pa or R954 over LED lamp life time assuming cost per Kwh of R0.50
