About Us
Open Learning Group specialises in providing access and support to the development of people and their futures across the complete NQF-pathway, from the GET to HET band. Open Learning Group supports organisations in improving their skills base, developing occupational learning and designing workplace skills plans. Open Learning Group follows a strict model of client service, and support to all stakeholders, whether corporate or student.
With Open Learning Group's support over the past 15 years, 60 000 students have been assisted with learning and career paths while the skills bases of various organisations have been improved.
Services We Offer
Training & Academic
On the academic side Open Learning Group offers tailor-made courses and qualifications that are delivered to support and serve individual students as well as corporate and industrial clients.
The five current focus areas are business, skills, risk, education and information technology and a variety of certificates, diplomas, degrees, and postgraduate degrees are included in the available curriculum.
Popular programmes often presented include Adult Basic Education Training (ABET)
Further Education and Training (FET) Certificate in Marketing, an FET Certificate in Wealth Management
National Certificate in Logistics Management
National Certificate in Wholesale and Retail Operations
ETDP skills programmes such as the Assessor course and the Moderator course;

Programmes offered through the partnership with the North-West University:
National Professional Diploma in EducationB.Ed Honours Degree as well as short courses in end user computing.
Programmes can be customised to ensure that learners are able to apply new skills in the workplace.

Business School of Excellence (BSE) in Namibia
BSE was accredited as a provider with the NQA (Namibia Qualifications Authority) on 23 September 2009. They currently present a Short Course in End-user Computing, and are awaiting approval of an application to add the Certificate in Marketing and Certificate in Logistics Management to their scope.
Credo Books
After careful research it was decided in 2009 to start our own publishing company called Credo Books. We can, as a result, obtain books directly from the source at reduced prices which we in turn pass to the learners by keeping costs to a minimum.
Masithuthuke
In 2008 OLG formed a joint venture agreement with Masithuthuke Adult Education CC. In line with the strategy to prioritise scarce skills, OLG focused on capacity building and expansion into the Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) arena.
