Culhane Consulting were appointed by the BankSeta, the Training Authority for the Banking Industry in South Africa, to develop and present a programme in Bank Credit and Risk Assessment for a Learnership aimed at previously disadvantaged new graduates who were then still unemployed and were interested in a career in the Banking Industry.
This Learnership started in February 2010 and will be completed in March 2011. 100 learners have taken part in the programme, which is currently running and proving to be very successful.
Credit Skills are seen to be extgremely scarce skills in the industry and this is the first ever Learnership offered by BankSeta which focuses on scarce skills within the industry. Of all the bids presented to BankSeta, ours was found to be the best with regard to content.
