Who we Are
M.A.D is an independent, professional company run by a team of Industrial Psychologists who specialise in using the benefits of psychological assessment technologies for the purpose of providing fair, objective and in-depth insight into individuals, their capabilities and talents within the work context. It is our belief that the use of competency based assessments, backed by psychometric instruments, is the key to unlocking the unique value inherent in each individual.
It is our mission to empower our clients to make accurate and objective predictions about people and we differentiate ourselves from other service providers by developing close relationships with our clients so that we understand their unique circumstances and requirements and thereby provide appropriate solutions rather than standardized batteries. We focus our attention at the individual level with the underlying philosophy that organizations are collections of individuals and thus organizational growth is dependent on individual growth. In so doing we aim to improve overall effectiveness, productivity and ultimately profitability for our clients.

M.A.D. currently supports two Preschools through The Bridge Nursery School. Both form part of the Soweto Youth and Development Projects NPC.
Ekukhanyeni crèche is located in the Diepkloof Hostel complex in Soweto.
The crèche started in the beginning of 2006 in one of the old single quarter rooms in the old migrant worker hostel, a notorious legacy of Apartheid. Currently there are 40 children enrolled all coming from the hostel.
Siyakhuliswa Educare and Preschool, which means "we are getting a hand up" is located in Lehae to the south of Johannesburg near Lenasia.
This facility was initially established in the Mshenguville squatter camp in Soweto and was relocated to Lehae in the beginning of 2007 as the residents of Mshenguville were being relocated to the new "RDP" development in terms of the governments housing initiative.
Some 42 children aged from 2 to 6 attend the school. The crèche is located in an "Edutainer" - a converted shipping container.
M.A.D. assists both of these projects with regular monetary donations.
