Who We Are

Caffé Pronto is a story of an idea that was born in 1999, and started with the Tuc Tuc. It has never been advertised and has only grown by word of mouth. It is a family business. Caffé Pronto was the first Mobile specialised Italian coffee business in South Africa.

We trained in Italy, by some of the coffee legends, and introduced the true cappuccino to South Africa including Latte Art back in 2000, which is now all the rage. We have become masters at events, barristor personalities, quality coffee and SPEED which is crucial at events. That is why Fifa called in Caffé Pronto at the Cape Town stadium to supply specialised coffees for the world cup.

So popular is Caffé Pronto that business opportunists seized the moment to order their own Pronto Van. We have franchise chains with units throughout South Africa, with over 50 franchises, and supplying to 4000 events per year.
