We believe in supporting and generating social upliftment within South Africa, and strive to provide learnerships for market entrants from HDI backgrounds.
Potters Hand Activations supports an orphanage on a monthly basis called Miqlat. HIV/AIDS in South Africa and in Africa and its effects on children are evident. Miqlat has been providing care for children infected with HIV/AIDS for many years.
Miqlat also aims to build a new generation of young leaders who, coming from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds, can return as role models, inspiring their communities to have hope, dreams and live out their God-given potential.
Current projects run by Miqlat are:
• Bowy House (Caring for children infected by HIV/AIDS)
• Farms Ministry (empowering Farm workers)
• Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Project
• Dream Team (Youth outreach and development team)
• Mbekweni and informal settlements
• Miqlat community Centre (training and equipping and intervention programmes)
