Who We Are

Mountain Homestead is situated on the privately owned, 21 000 hectare Witwater conservation area and offers close access to
Sossusvlei as well as privacy and exclusivity.

The lodge is elevated on a small mountain and offers dramatic views of the plains below and the rugged mountains and soaring red dunes in the distance.

The camp consists of 9 comfortable rock, timber and thatched guests chalets recessed into the face of a low hill, and ensure personal service and attention, while at the same time protecting the wonderfully peaceful atmosphere of the desert.
The en suite bathrooms have both hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets, as well as panoramic views of the plains below. Each chalet has its own private plunge pool tucked away in shady nooks giving relief from the midday heat.
