Who We Are

The Desert Homestead is located in a pristine location, only 31.5km from the Sesriem Canyon, close to the famous Sossusvlei dunes,
the highest in the world.

The wide grassy valley is sheltered by the Nubib, Tsaris and Naukluft mountains with a view reaching the distant dunes of the Namib Desert in the west.

The 20 thatched chalets ensure our guests a more comfortable stay whilst absorbing the harsh paradise of the ancient Namib Desert.
We also offer a more luxurious experience at the neighbouring Mountain Homestead. We have become a popular destination for keen horse riders and also offer sundowner rides, guided walks, Sossusvlei and Naukluft excursions.

Tranquil surroundings, Alfresco dining, delectably fresh farm cuisine, refreshing dips in the pool, stunning sunsets and sunrises are the
basic pleasures at our lodge.
