Our Investments

Powertech Transformers is 80% owned by Power Technologies (Pty) Ltd (Powertech), the largest powerelectrical group in Southern Africa and 20% owned by Power Matla. Powertech, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the JSElisted Altron (Allied Electronics Corporation Limited).

Powertech is focused on delivering advanced technologies for the creation, management, distribution, storage and use of electricity across industries.

Altech UEC is a leading developer of digital technology and specialises in the design, development, supply and support of integrated hardware and software solutions for the international digital multi-media industry.

A consortium led by Power Matla owns 25.1% of the Altech UEC Africa business.

Altech GDL is a specialist provider of a range of set-top box (STB) specific post-sales services designed to ensure that operators derive maximum return on their STB fleet. These services include inbound and outbound supply chain logistics, after-sales support and repair, product reconfiguration programmes and product life extension programmes.

Altech GDL covers six continents around the world and its facilities in South Africa and Australia process over 60 000 STBs per month.
